Terms of Service

Last updated: September 25, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating an account, purchasing a plan, or using KonexKard, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use KonexKard for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these terms for that organization.

2. Description of the service

KonexKard provides digital business cards, sharing tools, customization options, and an optional Event Mode that lets people choose to share contact details with a cardholder. KonexKard is not a customer relationship management system, legal-compliance service, or guarantee of leads, sales, introductions, or business results.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account and card information and keep it current. You are responsible for protecting your password, controlling access to your account, and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized use. You must be at least 13 years old to use KonexKard; if the law where you live requires a higher age to enter a binding agreement, you must meet that age or have valid permission from a parent or guardian.

4. Subscriptions and billing

KonexKard offers a Free tier. While the Founding Member offer remains available, eligible customers may purchase lifetime Pro access for a one-time payment of $79. After that offer ends, Pro is available for $59 per year or $7.99 per month. Applicable taxes may be added. Current checkout terms shown before purchase control if they differ from this draft.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Recurring subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing period until canceled. You may manage or cancel a recurring subscription through the billing portal available from your KonexKard account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid billing period unless the checkout or applicable law states otherwise.

If Pro access expires or a recurring subscription lapses, your existing card, leads, and customization data are preserved. Pro-only features become unavailable and the public card falls back to the Free presentation. Restoring Pro access may make preserved Pro customization available again. Refunds, if any, are handled according to the terms shown at purchase and applicable law.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use KonexKard to impersonate another person or organization, mislead others, violate law, infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, distribute malware, interfere with the service, gain unauthorized access, scrape or obtain another cardholder’s Event Mode leads, or send spam, harassment, threats, or other unwanted communications. You may not use automated means to burden or abuse the service.

6. Your content and data ownership

You retain ownership of the names, text, images, logos, links, and other content you submit. You grant KonexKard a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, format, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and provide the service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit and display your content.

7. Event Mode data responsibility

A visitor chooses whether to submit contact information through Event Mode. Once a cardholder receives that information, the cardholder is responsible for using, securing, retaining, and deleting it lawfully. This includes honoring the visitor’s choices, obtaining any consent required for follow-up or marketing, and complying with privacy, telemarketing, and anti-spam laws. KonexKard does not grant permission to contact anyone in a way the law or that person’s consent does not allow.

8. KonexKard intellectual property

KonexKard and its software, branding, interface, documentation, and original content are owned by KonexKard or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited right to use the service under these terms, no rights are transferred to you. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, or create derivative works from the service except where law expressly permits it.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KonexKard is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted availability, or error-free operation. You are responsible for reviewing your card, links, QR code, and collected contact data before relying on them.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, KonexKard and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or data. KonexKard’s total liability arising from the service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid KonexKard during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim or US $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using KonexKard at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, fraud, security risks, legal requirements, nonpayment, or a material violation of these terms. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of [Your State/Country], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts located in [Your State/Country] will have jurisdiction over disputes, except where applicable consumer law requires otherwise. Replace these bracketed placeholders after legal review.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms to reflect service, business, or legal changes. We will post the revised terms here and update the date above. For material changes, we may provide additional notice. Continued use after revised terms take effect means you accept them, to the extent permitted by law.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms may be sent to support@konexkard.com. This support address and the governing-law section should be confirmed before this draft is adopted as final.
